Open Amp Soccer Clinic Scheduled for
San Antonio March 8

The American Amputee Soccer Association will host an open clinic for amputees of any age who are interested in playing soccer or who want to get back into the game.

The clinic will be co-hosted by STRAPS (South Texas Regional Adaptive and Paralympics Sports).

The clinic, 9-11 AM, Saturday March 8, will be held at the STAR Soccer Complex, in San Antonio, as part of a training camp for the US National Amputee Soccer team, who will introduce the game to attendees.

All you'll need are a t-shirt, shorts, shin guard, a sneaker or cleat, and water. Everything else will be provided.

Visitors are also invited to stay and watch the US Team practice as they prepare for the Ampute Soccer World Cup this December.

Therapists, prosthetists, medical and rehab professionals are also welcome.
